Barcode
Information
A barcode label is required on every
card.
 We will not be able to sell your
item without it.  

As you prepare your items and tags, make
a note on the bottom of each tag of the
price you want to ask for each item and
whether you wish the item to be sold for
half-price on the last day.  You will cover
this with your barcode later.  After you
have made your tags, go through your tags
and make a list of the barcodes you need
to order.  Click on the link to the left, and
place your order.  

If you change your mind about a price
or whether an item should be
discounted, you must get another
barcode.  Do not write changes on your
barcode.  We will go with what is on
the barcode, handwritten changes will
not be accepted.  This is for your
protection.   Also, do not use two
labels on one card.  We need one
barcode label with the correct price.
Why barcodes?  

Barcodes will eliminate simple human error.  Some handwriting is
difficult to read; sometimes numbers get transposed, either when
the consignor is writing the number or when we enter it in the
computer; etc.  No matter how careful you, the consignor, or we, the
staff of Sweet Repeats, try to be, we are all only human.  Mistakes
happen.  We don't want them to!  

Barcodes mean speed.  We will be able to scan all tickets into our
computer system and total your sales very quickly.  The ticket
entering process is an extremely long procedure.  This means it
takes a long time to get you your check.  With barcodes, you will get
your check much quicker.    

Most consignment sales use a barcode program.  We've been
hesitant to change because we didn't want it to be difficult for our
consignors.  We've done a lot of research and looked at all available
programs out there, and believe this system will best suit the needs
of our sale and our consignors.  We hope you agree!  Let us know if

Order Barcodes
Important note:  
Do not leave your
barcodes in direct
sunlight (ex. on the
dash of your car).  The
light and heat can
damage the tag.  
Before ordering barcodes, you
must have registered as a
consignor for our Spring Sale.  
New and Returning Consignors
must register.

at 8pm.    
Important
After placing your barcode
order, you should see a
confirmation page with your
batch number
listed.  If you
do not see this, your
order was not submitted
to us.
 Please either try to
resubmit or email us or call
us and give us your order.  
We can place it for you.

Please do not use more than
one barcode on a tag.
 
(Example, placing two $2 labels
to equal $4).  This will be sold
for $2.  This is extremely
confusing to the shopper.  We
will not scan both labels.  If you
realize you need a different
label, we will be glad to print it
for you at drop off.  Thank you!
